What is National Library Week?
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.
National Library Week 2016 is April 10th through April 16th. Celebrations include:
Adopt a Book Giveaway- Free Books to a good home.
Library Scavenger Hunt - Come to the Library - follow the clues - win prizes.

There a will be two tables set up around the Ivy Tech campus for students to adopt gently used books. These are free books donated from the Ivy Tech Library and Faculty.
Coliseum Campus: A table will be set up outside the Library near Anthony Commons and a table in Crescent Commons.
