  • Some of the Ivy Tech Northwest Libraries will be hosting Game nights during this 2017 Fall Semester.
    Stay tuned for more details. 
     
  • The Ivy Tech Northwest Libraries have selected the title: A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron for the Fall Book Discussion Series. 
    • This is the book that the 2017 movie starring Randy Quaid is based from. 

       
  • MLA 8th Edition: We have the new editions readily available for library use at all 5 campus libraries. They are either in Reference or on Reserve and must stay in the library. These books cannot be checked out. 
     
  • Special Collections are available at the following campuses:‚Äč
    • Gary: Numerous picture books on subjects, from health and science to school, family, and adventure stories are available for checkout - for Early Childhood Education majors or those students with young children.
       
    • East Chicago: The Hispanic Collection features current magazines, fiction and non-fiction books, encyclopedias, and dictionaries in Spanish.
       
    • Michigan City: Books and other materials pertaining to the Teaching Assistant program only offered at Michigan City.
       
    • Valparaiso: The Paralegal study room contains the current edition of West Law Indiana Cases, Digests, and Encyclopedias along with the legal reference collection. Some of our other special collections include Nursing and Surgical Technology. Current fiction books are also available for checkout.
