The American Psychology Association (APA) style manual is used in scientific and social scientific classes, including medical assisting. We have many resources students can utilize to assist with their research papers. 

Ivy Tech Citation Guides-the Ivy Tech Citation Guide is a quick reference guide that is updated every semester. The guide gives examples of APA title and reference pages, as well as how to cite books, journals, and websites etc. Physical copies of the guide can be obtained in the library and the Academic Support Center.

The Purdue OWL-the Purdue OWL contains resources on in-text citations, samples of APA papers, and slide presentations.

NoodleTools-NoodleTools is a comprehensive citation generator that allows users to create citations and note cards, and save sources and papers. 



This Medical Assistant program guide is designed to consolidate your research tools in an easily accessible location to streamline scholarly inquiry. Within this guide, students will find academic databases, books, magazines, journals, websites, and multimedia information specific to the Marion Medical Assistant Program. The Medical Assistant Guide also contains citation assistance, resume and interview support, and employment links. Library hours are:

Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m

Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
