Ivy Tech classifies books using the Library of Congress classification system.  The Dewey Decimal Classification system is used at the Indianapolis Public Library and most other public libraries.

In Library of Congress, the call number range for the history of the North American continent, from prehistory to current, with books on the vaious tribes in order by region, state or tribal group is E 50 - 100.
