Request Materials Overview
The Library is able to borrow materials from other libraries and help you access resources at other academic libraries through our Interlibrary Loan and ALI programs.
You can also request that items be added to our collection.
Faculty members may place videos on reserve for their classes.
Students and employees can request items owned by another library by filling out a Request form available online or speaking to a staff member in the Library. The borrower is responsible for returning materials to the Ivy Tech Library. Reference books, videos and journals are rarely able to be borrowed.
Academic Libraries of Indiana
You may be able to use other libraries' materials through the 'Reciprocal Borrowing' program. Reciprocal borrowing cards are available to faculty and students in good standing. Participating Academic Libraries of Indiana (ALI) include: Concordia Seminary, Huntington College, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), University of St. Francis, and Taylor University and many more!
