Book Collection -- The college book collection provides supplemental material which supports the programs of the college plus other titles for pleasure reading and general interest.
Photocopies/Computer Printouts/Scanner -- The library provides a printer/scanner. The student $5 printing allowance can now be used in the library. Computer printouts and photocopies are available in color for 30 cents and b&w for 5 cents a page. Double sided printing is the default at 7 cents for b&w and 45 cents for color. To use a credit or debit card to add money to the student printing account follow the instructions on the Pay For Printing Document. To add cash, go to the Cashier's Office in the Express Enrollment Center in Ivy Hall. Scanning to email is free. Note: All printing is linked to Ivy Tech student, faculty, and staff accounts using a current Ivy Tech username/password. There is no printing from the public computer.
Computers/Wireless Access -- The library provides computers for student, faculty, and staff use. Login with your Ivy Tech username and password . Wireless Internet access is also available throughout the library. Wireless printing is also available. Note: There is one computer available for public use with a thirty minute limit, but there is no printing available from the public computer.
Student Research Help Sessions -- Each semester library staff offer free research help sessions. Check the MyIvy calendar for times and locations..
Inter-Library Loan -- If you can't find the material you need you can borrow from other Ivy Tech libraries as well as libraries nationwide. Come to the circulation desk in the Campus Library for assistance or call the reference desk at 765-269-5389 or contact Amy Keller firstname.lastname@example.org.
Magazine Collection -- The library subscribes to a few hard copy magazines and journals.
Material Request -- If you would like the library to purchase a book or other material click on the link to fill out a request form.
Reference Services -- The library welcomes all college students, faculty, and staff to either the Circulation or Reference desks.
Reciprocal Borrowing -- Information on the ALI (Academic Library Initiative) program which allows students, faculty and staff to borrow books from academic libraries in Indiana.
Study Areas -- There are many tables, carrels, and soft furniture throughout the library for quiet or group study. Additional quiet study space with tables is available on the 2nd floor of the library.
Training Session Request Form (for faculty) -- Fill out our online form to schedule training sessions for classes on how to use all of our library resources
Textbooks --Some textbooks and other materials are on reserve for in-library use only. Reserves are located behind the Circulation desk in the Library. Reserves may be checked out with a current Ivy Tech ID with barcode for 2 hours at a time for in-library use only. For a list of reserve textbooks check our Course Reserve Guide.
Food/Drinks/Cell Phones -- Food, drinks and cell phone use are allowed on the first floor in the cafe seating area. Drinks are allowed anywhere in the library with lids or caps.
Where can I return library materials? -- Library materials should be returned to the Campus Library.
Are there fines for overdue books? What if I lose or damage a book or other material? -- Currently there are no overdue fines. However, if an item is lost or damaged you will be responsible to pay for that item(s). PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to pay your fee, your borrowing privileges will be suspended and you will not be able to register for classes, graduate or get a copy of your transcripts until your account is paid-in-full.
