Statement of Purpose

Access to the African American Experience and Culture Through Published Knowledge

The purpose of the Advancing Racial Equity Guide is to promote access to the campus' new cultural collection which was purchased using the Advancing Racial Equity Collection Development Grant provided by the Indiana Humanities in the Summer of 2020 and funded by the Lilly Endowment.

The Indiana Humanities provided this $1000  grant as a result of George Floyd's death and the ensuing protests/ riots.

This collection is a circulating collection for our students, faculty, staff and community members.

Both library checkout and curbside pickup of these materials are options during the COVID-19 pandemic.
