Respiratory Therapy - South Bend-Elkhart

The mission of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), in collaboration CAAHEP), is to promote quality respiratory therapy education through accreditation services.

The National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC) is a voluntary health certifying board which was created in 1960 to evaluate the professional competence of respiratory therapists.

The respiratory care committee is established to assist the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana in carrying out article ARTICLE 34.5 RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONERS with regard to the qualifications and examination of respiratory care practitioners.

AARC is the only professional society for respiratory therapists in hospitals and with home care companies, managers of respiratory and cardiopulmonary services, and educators who provide respiratory care training.

The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, through research, education and advocacy.

The ATC supports and educates healthcare professions in the areas of pulmonology, critical care, sleep medicine, infectious disease, pediatrics, allergy/immunology, thoracic surgery, behavioral science, environmental and occupational medicine.
