Ivy Tech South Bend offers an accredited associate degree program in respiratory care that prepares students for a career in a variety of healthcare settings.
Upon graduation, students will be able to sit for the entry level and advanced level practitioner exams by the National Board for Respiratory Care [NBRC]. Successful advanced level examination candidates will be awarded the registered respiratory therapist credential. Graduates may also transfer their degree to specific colleges and universities toward completion of a bachelor of science in Respiratory Care.
