This mobile application (APPS)  guide is constructed to provide faculty, students, and staff at Ivy Tech a central place to load quality library recommended resources onto their handheld mobile devices. 

What are handheld mobile devices and Apps?

The most general description of a mobile device is a battery operated computing device with an operating system that runs a pre-defined software applications (Apps).   Most mobile device have communication functionality (phone, internet browser, GPS,  Blue tooth connectivity, etc..).  - Wikipedia

Note: Operating systems and apps must be compatible for the apps to function on the handheld mobile device.   Each App being listed in this guide will name what mobile device is compatible. 

The Library Apps page, Classroom Apps page and Work Management Apps page in this guide represent a triumvirate of pages focused on increasing academic productivity.   Being mobile provides more opportunities for those with busy schedules to access our resources, thus more opportunities to be productive.
