Terre Haute/Greencastle LRC_APA 7th Edition Guide
Based on the 7th edition Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (2020), the following guide represents a small portion of the various examples possible using APA documentation format. Not all source types are represented, but many documentation examples of sources used by college students are included. As the Internet is constantly changing, research writers should frequently check with APA or the documentation style of choice to determine possible updates for any given source type. The Publications Manual should be consulted if a source type needed is not listed or if further clarification of any source type is required. Case Studies
Provides working definitions and explanations of the three main categories of psychological research: descriptive, correlational, and experimental research, with additional information regarding how case studies are compiled.

Connecting with Tutors

The Learning Resource Center offers individualized and group tutoring for classes and subjects across the Ivy Tech curriculum, including reading, writing, math, science, and technology. The LRC on campus also provides desktop computer and printer access, as well as a place to study and ask questions.

Tutoring is available in-person in Room C-108 and online in Zoom. Tutoring sessions can be arranged in the following ways based on tutor availability in any given semester:

Students can walk into the LRC in Room C-108 (Library Hallway) without an appointment to receive assistance on a first come, first serve basis.
Students can drop into Zoom without an appointment on a first come, first serve basis on designated drop-in days and times.
Students can arrange an appointment on campus or in Zoom for allocated appointment days and times.

Students can quickly and easily search for appointment availabilities or drop in availabilities through the MyIvy TracCloud Dashboard.
