Ivy Tech Community College-KOKOMO REGION offers a variety of testing:  academic, certifications and licenses.  We also offer virtual testing, when applicable, and are here to serve you according to your testing needs.  Please contact us for any questions you may have about your testing appointments.  We look forward to seeing you!

Students: Schedule Your Virtual Proctoring Exam!

Step 1At least three days before your desired appointment, click on the CASS Self-Serve link: www.ivytech.edu/schedulenow or in MyIvy located under Student / Course Info / Schedule Testing Appointment.

Step 2 – Click on Student Login and use your Ivy Tech email address and password.

Step 3 – Select “Certification and all other exams” and click next.

Step 4 – Select the Ivy Tech course for which you are taking the exam and click next.

Step 5 – Select the exam you would like to take.

(Example: Proctored Academic Exam is selected for Midterms and Finals)  

Step 6 – From the dropdown box, select the amount of time needed for the exam.

Step 7 – Choose the type of exam you are requesting such as midterm, final, DSS or input name and click next.

Step 8 – Using the dropdown box, select Virtual Proctoring for the campus and click next.

Step 9 – Click the red calendar and the date you would like and click next.

Step 10 – Use the dropdown box and select the time you would like and click next.

Step 11 – Review your appointment details and hit “Submit My Appointment Request”.

Step 12 - You will receive two automatic emails:

The first email confirming your appointment request.

The second email will be an approval or decline of the appointment.

If you have not received either email, check your spam/clutter/junk folders.

Or you are always able to view your appointment status/history at ivytech.edu/schedulenow.

Step 13 If your appointment request is approved, you will receive an email from an organization called Proctor360. This email will contain a registration link which will walk you through the steps to make sure your computer meets the technical requirements for P360. Please complete the registration process when you receive this email. The link below will walk you through this process.

After you have registered, you will receive a second email with the link for your testing appointment.

You also need to test your internet speeds. Upload and download speeds both need to be at least 10. You may use this link to test your speed: https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

Please prepare for this appointment in advance. If you are prepared, your test session will go more smoothly.

  • Student may not use an iPad, tablet, or any device other than a computer for testing.
  • Please use Google Chrome as the browser on your computer.
  • Download the Google Chrome Remote Desktop before your test session.
  • Testing requires a stable internet connection with upload and download speeds of at least 10. Link to test internet speed: https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
  • Webcam, microphone and speakers
  • If you do not have a webcam, or if your equipment or internet does not meet any of the other technical requirements, you may need to schedule an appointment to take your test on campus.
  • Please make sure that you are accessing your Proctor360 appointment link on time.  Late arrivals will be considered a no-show and will be required to reschedule.
  • To start your appointment, click on the appointment link in the email you received from Proctor 360.
  • A government-issued photo ID will be required for identity verification. Be prepared to show this ID to the proctor.
  • No breaks are allowed.  If you leave the testing environment, the test will be ended.
  • Distractions free zone is required. This means no other person(s) or pets will be allowed in testing area.
  • Please remember no hats or head coverings are allowed.
  • Your work area will need to be cleared of all materials except those allowed by your instructor.  Please make sure the surface and floor around your seat are cleared.  (No writing material, books, diagrams, phones, electronic devices or other items are allowed.)
  • During the session, the proctor will be able to view your computer screen.  Before your scheduled meeting, please log into IvyLearn, proceed to your course and bring the test to the password screen.  All other tabs and programs must be closed unless the instructor has allowed computer-based material.
  • Please note that you will be recorded during your testing appointment.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you can do so up to 3 days in advance by visiting www.ivytech.edu/schedulenow
  • If you need to cancel your appointment after you have received your email from Proctor360, please email asktestingservices@ivytech.edu.
  • If you get disconnected during your session, please reconnect using the link in your email.
  • Although not expected to happen, if the proctor does not show for your appointment, submit a Help Desk ticket immediately. The MyIvy homepage contains a link to submit a ticket.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSING

We offer CERTIFICATIONS in a variety of fields.  We offer testing through Pearson VUE, ATI, PSI, MSSC, NATEF, ATMAE, CNA, RMA, and many more.     

ALL CERTIFICATION TESTING REQUIRES A VALID ID TO TEST.
