Introduction

Eclipse

Pictures from Library Events

Since our campus fell in the direct line of totality, our building was closed for the day, and employees worked remotely.

Prior to the eclipse, we received a grant for 500 pair of eclipse glasses from the STAR Library Network. These glasses were distributed across our campus to students, staff, and faculty, and some glasses were shared with other local non-profit organizations.

Our Library had displays, giveaway maps, and activity sheets.  We also promoted the "Titans of Space" virtual reality tour through the solar system with our VR headsets.  Since April was also Poetry Month, we set up our Pin Poetry board where patrons created poems with little word slips.  This year, the Pin Poetry edition featured many additional words that were space and eclipse related.
