EdTech (Bloomington Educational Technology -- formerly BOTS)

What They Do:

EdTech specializes in Canvas programs (like IvyLearn). But they can also help with other general tech questions. So go to EdTech if you need help:

  • Learning MyIvy
  • Learning MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

OIT (Office of Information Technology)

Also known as: CTS (Campus Technology Services Department)

 

What They Do:

This is where you want to go if you need help:

  • Connecting to the internet
  • Setting up your tablet, computer, or phone
  • Navigating Ivy Learn
  • Navigating My Ivy
  • Learning to upload files
  • Learning to copy and paste
  • Learning Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

What They Do:

The library staff is trained in computer technology, but can also help with homework assignments. Go there if you need help:

  • Learning MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

They also have a wide range of educational tools, technology, and leisure resources

The Learning Commons has lots of great services to take advantage of:

  • FREE tutoring for all students
  • Paper editing
  • Student Success Workshops
  • Anatomy models and charts

 

The Center for Online Writing Support (COWS) is a website that allows you to submit your paper and receive help from an Ivy Tech faculty member within 48 hours. For COWS, click the link below.

There is also a program through Tutor.com that give assistance to the classes listed in the Tutor.com link below.

There are open Student Computer Labs available at:
