All of these podcasts cover cases where public records have been heavily used to solve the crimes and/or have publicized them to a higher degree than others. Most of these are local to Indiana or the greater Midwest, except for the Bear Brook Murders in New Hampshire: I included that case since a librarian was key to identifying the four victims using public records.
