Scoring
Students may take the TEAS three times in a year (wait time is at least 14 days between attempts, and test fee is charged each time). Scores are valid for 2 years.
The exam contains 170 multiple-choice questions, and each questions has 4 answers to choose from. The entire exam takes a little over 3.5 hours to complete.
Questions focus on core concepts in Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage you learned in high school or 1st year of college (details below).
TEAS uses an equating system, meaning some questions are scored higher. You won't know which ones are, though, so answer all of them (guess if you have to)!

A TEAS score of Proficient or higher (total score between 58.7% – 77.3%) is required for applications to be considered. Targeting a higher score is always advised, as the mean TEAS score of other applicants will be a significant factor. Please check this document for details.
