EXITS & FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Know where the nearest exits and fire extinguishers are located. 

• Fire Extinguisher: Across the hall from the main library entrance.
• Exits: The exit-only door in the main library space.

FIRE
- BLINDS OPEN.  Make sure the blinds are open.

- EVERYONE MUST LEAVE the library. 

- Encourage library users to take their valuables with them. 

- TURN OFF THE LIGHTS 

- DO NOT LOCK THE DOORS  

- You should be one of the last to leave as directed by senior library staff.

- Assemble in designated area

- Stay out of the building

ACTIVE SHOOTER

• DOOR LOCKED. 
• LIGHTS OFF
• ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF MUST GO IN THE STORAGE ROOM. Keep the lights off and the door fully closed. Silence phones and wait until an all clear is sent from IvyAlert
