Academic Standards

Indiana Academic Standards
Indiana Department of Education’s (IDOE’s) prioritized standards for each content area include those designated as essential for mastery by the end of each grade level or course.
Indiana Early Learning Standards
Indiana’s Early Learning Standards are a developmental continuum and align to the 2023 Indiana Academic Standards. The standards provide core elements that children should achieve from birth to age five to be ready for future success. The standards set forth common language and expectations for all staff working in early care and education.
Kentucky Academic Standards
The Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) contain the minimum required standards that all Kentucky students should have the opportunity to learn before graduating from Kentucky high schools. The standards address what is to be learned, but do not address how learning experiences are to be designed or what resources should be used.
Illinois Standards and Instruction
The Standards and Instruction Department is committed to supporting Illinois schools and educators by providing guidance, resources, and professional learning to support student achievement and equitable learning outcomes.
Ohio Learning Standards
Learning standards explain the knowledge and skills Ohio students should know and be able to do in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
Michigan Academic Standards
The State academic standards posted here serve to outline learning expectations for Michigan’s students and are intended to guide local curriculum development. They should be used as a framework by schools for curriculum development with the curriculum itself prescribing instructional resources, methods, progressions, and additional knowledge valued by the local community.

National Education Association

Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development
For over 80 years, educators and instructional leaders have used ASCD’s educator-generated, evidence-based resources, digital tools, and solutions to build teaching and learning environments to elevate education and boost student achievement.
National Association for the Education of Young Children
The National Association for the Education of Young Children is a large nonprofit association in the United States representing early childhood education teachers, para-educators, center directors, trainers, college educators, families of young children, policy makers, and advocates.
