Accounting - Terre Haute

Subject Headings

Most libraries assign Library of Congress Subject Headings to items in their catalogs. These headings can help you get good results when searching "By Subject."   Here are a few examples of subject headings:

  • Accounting
  • Business
  • Bookkeeping
  • Financial Statements
  • [topic] in business, such as
    • Budget in business
    • Mentoring in business
    • Proposal writing in business
  • Accounting--Computer programs
  • Inflation (Finance)

Look for subject headings at the bottom of journal articles in particular. When searching online, you'll find that many of these headings are hyperlinked, which can lead you to additional resources associated with the topic.

Additional Ebook Resources

Resources can also be found via the internet on Google Books. Although sometimes the full book is not available on the site, Google does offer at least relevant chapters as starting points for research.
