The Library's Juvenile Print Collection

The Terre Haute campus Library is home to a robust children's literature collection of over 400 titles ranging from elementary to junior reading levels.

Locating Print Books

In addition to shelf browsing the print Juvenile collection to locate a particular book, the IvyCat search feature on the Library website can assist with location of print material.

1. Select the IvyCat option from the Discover search box:

3. Select relevant filters such as "Title," "Author" or "Subject" from the second dropdown box.

Database for Award Winning Children Literature
DAWCL has almost 6,000 records from 73 awards across six English-speaking countries (United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Ireland). Click the link Explanation of Awards above to see a list of awards, their countries, and a brief explanation. Each book is indexed to some degree so users can find it using the form search or the keyword search. As I read a book, I index it more fully. Naturally, DAWCL is always a work in progress, so results will change with the addition of new awards, award-winners, and my reading/indexing habits
International Children's Digital Library (ICDL)
