Almost 30 million Americans will have an eating disorder in their lifetime. During the pandemic, the number of people seeking treatment has jumped. But as Amna Nawaz reports, eating disorders are often overlooked in people of color.

In this video, I talk about the 10 biggest lessons I have learned throughout 2 years of eating disorder recovery. This video is aimed to be educational for those wanting to recover, understand recovery, or help someone in recovery. I keep it as honest and real as possible, not sugar-coating or minimizing this difficult of this process. Mental health is so important, and I want to shed light on how difficult it can be to maintain and improve mental health. Even though it's a battle, it is worth it.
