Who Can Use Library Technology
Ivy Tech Students: Full access to library computers, laptops (in-library use), printers, scanners, and other available technology.
Faculty & Staff: Full access to library technology and equipment.
Community Users: While library computers are reserved for active Ivy Tech students, community patrons are welcome to bring their own devices and connect to the Ivy Tech guest Wi-Fi. Community users may also use other in-library services where permitted.
Loaner Laptops for Extended Use
Students needing a longer-term loaner laptop (for outside library use) should contact IvyCares at: indianapolis-ivycares@ivytech.edu.
Borrowing Policies
Library Computers
Available to Ivy Tech students only for academic use.
Accessed by logging in with your Ivy Tech username and password.
Laptops (NMC Library Location Only)
Available for in-library use only.
Cannot be taken out of the library.
Must be returned before leaving.
Other Equipment
Items such as webcams, headsets, chargers, scientific calculators, and other technology can be checked out for in-library use only.
Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
All users are expected to follow Ivy Tech's Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities and Acceptable Use Policy when using library technology.
