The library maintains many textbooks on reserve for short-term use by currently enrolled Ivy Tech students. Faculty and staff currently enrolled in an Ivy Tech class may check out the textbook for the class they are enrolled in.
Please check with a librarian to see if we have one for your class. Due to the new digital textbooks available through Ivy+, our textbook collection will be limited.
CIRCULATION
- All Textbook Reserve items will be considered as "In Library Use" only and will not be allowed to leave the library. They may only be borrowed during library hours and must be returned at closing each day.
- All Textbook Reserve items are available for a 4-hour checkout period.
- Fines will not be imposed for late returns
- Textbooks may be checked out for up to three courses at a time at the Lawrence and North Meridian campuses.
- Textbooks cannot be borrowed from or loaned to other libraries through our Interlibrary Loan process.
- Textbooks cannot be placed on hold.
- Textbooks can be renewed only one time if:
- A second copy of the textbook is available OR
- Student waits at least 1/2 hour so that other patrons have access to textbook
