The Library subscribes to a variety of online resources especially for students studying education.
Many of our resources can be accessed from any computer with internet access.
Stories are even better with visual aids. We have puppets of all types and sizes available for check-out, and each one can help enhance the story you are sharing.
Teachers need to be resourceful. Knowing where to find resources for education online can be a great way to supplement lessons.
Many of the resources listed on this page are free!
Over 5,000 fiction and nonfiction children's books are shelved in our juvenile collection. Nonfiction is shelved by the Library of Congress call number and fiction is shelved by the author's last name.
A LibGuide containing a directory of children's books is available, and lists books on topics such as having a new baby in the family, food, divorce, biomes, cooking, books in Spanish, interactive books, and more.
Books are geared towards ages 0-8, and include board books.
