The Ivy Tech Community College Libraries are full partners in the educational and workforce development mission of the College. The libraries teach research strategies, support the curriculum, and encourage independent and lifelong learning by providing the space, information resources, instruction, and related services essential for academic success. The Terre Haute campus library has limits to internet access due to the constrants of Jita (just in time accounts) accounts not working on our wireless network. We do provide access to the print book and periodical collections and when community patrons have personal laptops or tablets the library staff is always available to give assistance with internet and INSPIRE (public access library resources) when needed.

Information Resources Development - While the final selection of information resources will be determined by Campus/Site library staff, the faculty will play a role in the materials selection process.
The library staff will work closely with the faculty through:
A. Review and evaluation of current librarian information resources;
B. Solicitation of bibliographies, selection aids, lists and specific titles;
C. Regular reviews of curriculum and course syllabi
D. Regular reviews of curriculum and course syllabi;
E. Participation on College committees and task groups.
