The library has ten laptop computers and five GoPro cameras available for use by currently enrolled students. The computer is a Dell Latitude E5550 laptop, with battery, a recharger and cord, and a carrying case. Each GoPro kit contains a GoPro HERO4 Silver camera, a 32GB microSDHC memory card, a carrying case, (2) re-chargable batteries, a protective housing with (3) different backdoors, a hand grip, head-mount, clip-mount, and a quick start guide.
Only Ivy Tech Fort Wayne students who meet the following conditions may check out laptop computers:

A member of the faculty needs to email library staff to tell them that he/she believes that the student is responsible and can be trusted with the computer or GoPro camera. (The faculty member bears no financial responsibility if the device is damaged or is not returned.) Faculty should send their emails, from their Ivy Tech email accounts, to:

The Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Library has friendly, knowledgeable people, the most hardware and software, and the longest hours of any student computer facility on campus. The Library has 50-desktop computers, 10-Laptops, 2-CAD Stations, and 2-iMacs available for student use. These computers are pre-loaded with various software applications and plugins to accommodate Ivy Tech Community College coursework. Students are unable to install their own applications onto the computers but may request software used in their course to be installed.
Computers are available across campus. Computer Labs at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne, has information about locations, hours, and equipment. Call the Center for Academic Excellence (260-480-4262) for more information about labs or tutoring.

You must be connected to the IVYStudent (NOT IVYGuest) wireless network in order to send print-jobs to our printer!
Printing from your Laptop
1. Navigate to the URL: https://print.ivytech.edu and login using your MyIvy Credentials.
2. Upload the file you want to print. The file must be saved and closed first!
3. Select printer from the printer drop-down menu (bottom left)
Printer name should contain number 1770 in the name, such as CFCP-1770-X7970-02
If such printer is not available in the drop-down menu, search for 1770 in the Search field provided underneath.
The circle in front of the printer name indicates its color printing abilities
4. Set up other printing options, such as color, sides, pages per side and number of copies, then click Print.
5. Pick up your print-job at the printer (if unsure which Library printer your job went to ask circulation desk staff for help).
